Transfering Perk Points
« on: March 16, 2008, 09:58:36 AM »
Is it a way to transfere perk points to other players? If not do you think we would be able to do it in the future?

Never used a single point for years, wish I could get some kind of credit back. Like selling WoW gold on ebay. Wonder what AH2 perk points would be worth?  :lol

I've posted similar ideas like this.  A squad perk pool would be a great place to put those rather useless bomber perks to be used for squad operations in general.

I love to GV and do Jabo missions vs GVs, get used to it.  Being good at one helps in the other.

I think we should be able to pay our monthly subscription with perk points. I'd be able to pay for 293 months!  :O

You fly anything with a lower ENY rank than 5 for a week and you'll have several hundred perks.

The reason folks don't have any perks to spend on those 262 missions is because all they fly are ENY5 planes, and they die as often as they get kills. Getting 1 perk point per sortie they will never earn ~250 perks to up a 262.

So just tell them to fly a 109G14 or a P-51B or a P38 or a Ki instead of la7s p51ds and spit16s. They'll have more than enough in short order.

Get a P47D-11 with 50% gas and a tank, head to a fight a sector and a half away, autoclimbing (no wep, dammit!).

You'll be up to around 15-17K, can cruise comfortably, and dive into (and away) from any fight you see, and dominate.

Mucho Perkies that way.  Bubbletops are for sissies  :P

You don't have to be a timid alt monkey to get perks. You can fly like however you normally fly, just in lower-ranked ENY planes.

P.S. Take 100% internal and no DT, switch to manual fuel select and drain main tank first. Save aux for when you get that main tank fuel hit.

P.P.S. You'll note I said "when" not "if"....

lets trade.

I'm up for cash for perkies.  I'll sell 1000 of any category for a tenner.  :D.

Maybe this would have an amazing break through in gameplay.  ENY would go out the window, everyone would be duking it out in zeros and p40's.  Everyone swapping to the low sided team for extra perk bonus.

I think it will eliminate the horde and ENY in one big swoop!

Who said anything about being a timid alt-monkey?  It's smart play in a d-11, dude!  Up against a spit 16 or an LA7, you're damn right I'm gonna come in with an advantage!  The alt is just to make sure you have smash when you join the fray.

Once you're in, you have smash to move verticaly, horizontally, do whatever you need to do to beat up on 'em.  when your airspeed drops to about 250, zoom up, extend, come back with some alt.  Easy!

Aux tank moves the Cg too far back in the 47.  I drain that one first.  If you leave it full, you can wind up in a wicked accelerated stall that's tough to get out of.

I was just throwing out easy ways to get perkies.  If you want *REALLY* easy perkies, take the jug with 100% up to around 20K, and go bomber hunting.   :t
