Didn't you know that ALL problems are "rook" problems?

Rooks are responsible for everything from athlete's foot to the hoax known as global warming (global climate change if you swing that way).   :devil

Posting here is a waste of time.  Email support@hitechcreations.com with the time and place of the incident, they will reverse the chat ban "if needed".  Of course, they will see everything you typed as well, which might lead to a longer ban if it's worthy, or do what they wish on abuse of reports.

But again, it does no good whatsoever to post about it in here.

Really....it's not a "your squad is bad " issue...

The REAL issue is players using game features to cause havoc to other players just to be nasty.

Example:  3 weeks ago, an enemy player came knight, parked on our mission channel and started spewing a bunch of garbage.  I don't know who all did it...(I have been accused of it, I did not do it, I sure HTC has proof of that somewhere) abused the .report feature and that player got chat banned. Outside of just being overly obnoxious, he wasn't doing anyting that he should be .reported for.  I DO NOT believe in people doing that, and have asked all Alliance Mission members NOT to do it!

I have also asked in the "Wishlist" thread, that HTC provide mission planners the option to .eject someone from the mission channel.  This would be a fair, easy way to get rid of spies and enemies who have defected just to try and wreak havoc on your missions because their success.

Now...players of all sides are abusing the .report to get enemy that they know is a strategic member of missions chat and/or voice banned (especially on a weekend, when they can't get it fixed until Monday)....even though they did nothing worthy of being reported...just to be rotten.

Unless Gunnit did something on Private Message that I could not see..I saw all of Gunnit's green country channel as well as mission channel text transmissions and he never did anything that remotely warrented being reported.

Pretty slimey.

So if you want to go after Gunnit like a pinata without knowing the whole story, that wouldn't surprise me.

There are people and squads in this game that have honor, and there are those that don't.  It's pretty easy to tell in-game who is who, and what people stand for.

As long as there are "loopholes" in the game that don't get addressed, slimey people will abuse them.

I admire the folks at HTC...I don't think I'd want the job of babysitting a bunch of alleged "adults".

AA's are some of the best guys and players, just because some switch sides doesn't mean they are spying.  Side switching can be done for fun (i do it to fly with ex-squaddies) besides if you think AA's are cheating/spies it's probably 'cause you got your prettythang handed to you by 'em.

I believe the AA's are flying for the country with the lowest #'s this tour so that may be why you see them on differnt countrys somedays. I agree with rox that the .report function has been abused before. I do not believe any AA member would spy and I have very high respect for there squad.

Dude, I don't know how old you are, but this is not the place to air out problems like this...  I think everyone in this game has had run-ins with others before, but a flame on the BBS never seems to solve anything.  Use a little more judgement next time, and contact Skuzzy directly and not waste everyone else's time...

I think in a case like this, HTC should take a look at the logs, and finds that the mass report was bogus, that the group that DID the mass report should loose all chat privileges for a week.  :devil
