Titanic "Wednesday"?
« on: March 18, 2008, 01:27:53 PM »
I must have missed a memo......what happened to Titanic Tuesday?  it's the ONLY day of the week I can usually sign on quick and get right into the main forum without reading that it's full...and to go to the one with 30 people in it instead.

Yup.  Tuesdays I get real work done.  Might hit the AvA tonight and strut my dweebishness a bit.

It's my favorite day to fly.  It's fairly annoying to get locked out of the arena your squad is working in during the other days; Tuesday the limits are big enough that it doesn't happen.  Big arena, lots of folks flying...good stuff!   :aok

Beats me...its a night of notorious lag, warping and mysterious dots.

*shrug*  I have a pretty beefy rig; never seen that or had a prob with lag/ghost planes, or whatever.  Could understand folks with older machines getting into trouble in big fights though.  I'd love to have one huge arena on a regular basis going, and additionally have some smaller stuff/arenas up so people who don't like the big action or with older pc's can go enjoy the game.

I made the mistake of forgetting it was Tuesday before I logged on tonight.  I'll have to leave myself a note on the desk here.

There were some decent fights early on, but it devolved into horde base taking as the night went on.  Lots of guys going light speed with cannons.  I got HO'd a lot the last half of the night.  And it's tough to get out of the way when it's so much red above you.

I knew I'd been on too long when it started to bug me so I logged.  If I'd have stopped flying earlier in the eve, I'd have felt better about the night overall.  My mistake :)

Not on my end thndr.  I flew for several hours last night and didn't have any issues what so ever and had a great night.  I love Tuesday and wish it would stay open always!

For those that don't know Thndr and I live 500 feet from each other and are on dialup.. There is hope though, last friday the phone company finally installed a DSL box 1/2 a mile up the road  :rock  Yes we are finally joining others in the modern age!!!!  Well in what two weeks maybe :P

EDIT:   Oh Guppy <S> to you and the other 38 pilots for the fun fights by A24 I had fun and I know several BOPs did also. :)  Next time you guys shoot half a wing off a KI-84 though you might want to put a few more rounds into it, I managed to finally pull out of the 13,000ft tumble about 20 feet over the water and nurse it back to base for a landing. :P
