I wouldn't choose any and quit the game. I'm not paying $15 a month for five planes.

SBD ------> Can do a perdy good job as a fighter too :]

Fighters:
uhh f4u1  ----->REALLY good bird
P38J  --------->Doubles as attack+brilliant fighter

La5 and Nik for fighters. Almost had to go with the yak though.

B25h and Lancs for bombers. Lancs for the big targets, b25h for killing CV's, popping LVT's etc.

Fav Gv's are the Osti and the Lvt4.
I know, the lvt4 isn't a tank, doesn't take much in the way of a hit.
But its fun to kill shore batterys, towns, fields with.

Typhoon IB.......... It will kill any and everything below 10 thousand feet.  A Pit Bull with wings...

P-51D................. Because this is the sexiest fighter aircraft ever.  :aok

A-20................... It destroys GVs like no bodies business. :t

B-26................... Very accurate at medium to high altitudes.

Sherman M4......... Becuase the visibility out of other tanks really stinks.  :lol

Bomber --  P38L (Fast, climbs, 2 1k's and 10 rockets and can hit with pin point ac.)

Fighter --  P38L ( Climbs, great guns, Counter rotating props.)

Attack --  P38L (Same as above)

My 2nd choice for all the above would be an F4U, (Just hate the slow climb rate)

Fighter: N1K2-J because it can turn great, has great guns, basically a slower tempest :). Can also carry 2 550lb bombs. cannons are great for taking towns down as there is more ammo.
Fighter: P-47D11 because it is the best turning jug, durable (i've come home with 1 aileron, both flaps missing, 1 elevator gone, 3 guns out, rudder out, and oil leak), and i just love the feel of the 8x .50cals.
Bomber: B-17G because it can take more damage than any other bomber and does the job efficently.
Bomber: B-25H because u can pick lightly armored targets (PTs, M3s, M16s, etc) off from long range, out of range for counter attack. I saw lazer land 23 kills, all PTs, in a B-25H yesterday. Also, I like its survivability and it is sort of maneuverable. HOing beast.
Attacker: P-47N because you cant go wrong with 3400 rounds of .50cal, 2x 1000lb bombs, 10x rockets, or 1x 500lb bomb. Again, survivable, fast, can df when ords are ditched.
GV: Tiger because great armor, big gun, sounds mean with ranger's sound pack. Only minus is slow turning of the turret, but if you get it around pain is going to be inflicted.
GV: Ostwind. Do i really need to explain this?

Fighters:  A6M5b for the furball,
              P-47D40 as my general fighter/attacker

Attack: Mossie because it's fast, carries a decent weapons load, and 4 hizzokas. What's not to love??

Bombers: B-24 as my heavy. 8000lbs of ords, great defense, decent speed and rate of climb with 50% fuel, long range.
             Ki-67 as my medium. Decent bomb load, fast as hell, 20mm dorsal gun, awsome climb rate for a bomber.

GV's: Osti  Always do pretty well it.
        Jeep just to run around and piss people off :D

P38L
Ki61

They're both great planes.   IMO, the Ki61 is one of the best planes in the game.   It should turn better than it already does.   When that happens, look out.   P38's are just sexy airplanes.   

Jabo:

F6F - I've never missed a target in this.   

GV's:

Ostie/Whirblewind - I cannot wait to see what the Whirblewind is capable of.

Fighters
Poni B......will turn with a lot of planes when its light and its fast enough to keep out of the hordes.
Tempest.....my horde killer and favorite plane.
Spit 9.....for when the turn planes are every where.

Bomber
B-24......excellent all round bomber.
A-20G.....good gv killer and a rather good fighter for its size.

Ground Vehicles
WhirbleWind........deadly to anything within range.
Panzer......still the best non perked tank in my opinion.

Beat me to it. I don't restrict myself to only 5 planes a night, let alone a tour...It's the variety that sparks it for me.

                         Ive seen some impressive things done in KI-61s. Things I didn't think possible. Maybe I'll spend a little time in one. The Tempest is just the biggest, baddest muscle car in the neighborhood. The JU-88 is under-rated. Its a very nice handling and versatile aircraft. Of course now the Whirlie is one of my 2 GVs. The Mossie is just a winner. Surprising you dont see it more, and more of a mission plane too.
