Got to leave work early, woot. 

The boss's words were something along the lines of "the only thing more dangerous than tornadoes and flash floods in Texas is a bunch of Joes driving in the rain at the same time.  So go home."  :)

yes indeed... as for my neck of the woods, alot of rain and wind but no flooding that I saw.  Just a bunch of stupid drivers... :mad:

Sitting in Lafayette Louisiana today. We've had wind gusts in excess of 63MPH. There is a tornado watch expected soon and the line of storms hasn't even arrived yet.  :O The RV has been rockin and rollin all day long and I wasn't doing anything to make that happen either.

The rain and thunderstorms aren't due until 2200 hours (CDST) or later.  :eek:

A small rig like yours rockin' in the wind? :huh ;) Stay safe! And park near a culvert! Tell the wife to keep them beans away from you too!

We had some gusts hit 90MPH today and I have a small lake where my back yard used to be at the moment.  We had already had damage to the roof from hail and wind storms last month, and it is worse now.  Two of my exhaust turbines were blown off of the roof.  Pulled the shingles and nails right out of the roof.  Dunno where they landed.
