i was thinkin that it would be cool for aces high to make a new version but with modern jet fighters like the F-14&15 and other planes like that..............just an idea

I say, we should add the Polish cavalry to the game instead of making a modernized version!

But IMHO, I'd love to fly an F-16 in Aces High.

And the F15 would be awesome!

I'd like Korean War more than Modern Day. Korean War was jets, but still you had to get within range to fire you guns which leads to dogfighting. While a Modern Day game would be each country taking off from a base firing missles at targets miles away, and turning around to try and land before the enemy missiles get to you first. I don't know about you, but I think the first one sounds funner.

I vote for WW1. Anyone notice there are no real combat sims for anything older than WW2?
Just think mustard gas, poor quality weapons, no bail outs(they didn't have 'chutes),rampant disease...

all of this is rediculous.  WW2 combat is y we are all here.  if you want to fly jets, go play a different game.  want WW1 planes?  go play other games.  its hard enuff for HTC to keep this one going as well as it is, the last thing we need is to go from 1 well supported game to 2 poorly supported games.  not to mention WW2 was the peak of areal combat, so its an obvious choice to make the best game.
