http://www.spitfireperformance.com/spit14v109.html

Loads of information, and plenty of data on kills for spit14's etc, and how they preformed against 109s.

Internal fuel capacity was 112 gallons with pick-up points provided for carrying of 30 gallon, 45 gallon or 90 gallon drop tanks

SpitXIV is perked so we should at least have the large drop tank option IMO. You can't even use the plane at its best alt with the current fuel loadout on MA.

"Bombing and strafing attacks further taxed the ground crew's ability to maintain the aircraft anywhere near the degree necessary to even approach theoretical performance levels."

Anybody know if this is factual or just writers own assumption?

That one I remember, too.

I thought he also did the spitfirecomparison webpage?

Looks kind of like his writing style, and I think he's linked heavily to it in the past.

No Krusty for Barbi has a big hate on for the web masters there, Mike Williams and Neil Stirling, and the Spitfire.

Yes he uses it as a reference source but continually whines about its content.
