AI always merges nose down on you when you dive beneath it. This is actually good, because it gives you the choice of saddling to practice turnfighting or milking your zoom climb and practicing energy tactics.

Can't wait till we have the capacity for custom quick battles, differential plane matches, that sort of thing.

HTC could have left this game as it was and gone fishing, and still it would have been well worth the $15 a month forever. They chose to go above and beyond. Skoal! to the team :aok

My hat is off to HTC for the AI!   :salute

Now I can have something to do when my "Third World" cable company goes out.  (cable modem)

I love how when you return to base, the HTC staff ups to greet you!!  Even Rosie!  Too COOL!   :aok

So let me get this straight......... The AI ho'd you all (or many)

Wow...... That is so far away from real gameplay.  I would complain if I were you!  Cause you know, nobody ever ho's in the arenas.

Perhaps it hasn't occurred to all you nuggets that being ho'd by the AI will help you not get so ho'd all the time by other players.....

...Anybody?

Haven't tried it yet but it is the first thing I'm doing when I get home.

I have wanted the offline 'missions' for a long time. Hopefully, we will be able to design our own training sessions and make them available. I remember Air Warrior had many players who designed training sessions flying all kinds of sorties against all kinds of planes . Or, you could choose your own and the AIs plane, and altitude and difficulty level etc.  Some of those training missions were very intense: two of my faves were flying a Hellcat with a wingie against a dozen or so zeros (modelled after a real late war encounter), and flying with 4 other spit 1s against a horde of emils. Those training sessions were REALLY good, and a great way to try out a new plane.

So here's to HiTech.  :salute  The best flight sim going just got a whole LOT better with one patch!

i'm loving this so far. my only wish is that there were more than just the pony to fight in. i'm thinking though, that if i improve in that, then maybe it'll help me in the other rides too. multiple enemys would be cool too.

Thank you, Hitech  :aok

The AI is ten times better than MSCFS, Warbirds, and Fighter Ace.

Looking forward to the new training missions as they become available.

Would really like to see some multiple con engagements.

Did you click on "practice missions" (bottom right I believe)  Then you have to follow the instructions that pop up on radio that tell you whcih direction to go.  Mine always says 180 degrees 250mph.....  You should then get thrown to 14000 feet full speed with the AI about 7 or 8 k out straight ahead.  Instructions should say "engage at will"

Hope you get it.

Is there something/someone I need to type, text message, download, adjust, open, close, threaten, shoot, stab, bribe, call, donate, run over, set fire to, send, email …….. whew… in order to fly against the AI?  When I click on the training option it gives me a message “This feature will be available soon” :furious :furious

It's not under training - it's under "Offline Practice". Once you are in the tower offline, there is a selection on the clipboard which says Mission (I think... at work right now).
