It is probably a bit late, but here's a tip for those who don't normally tinker with mods or game files-

Make a copy, then change that one. Don't screw with the original until you know how it works.  :)

Yeah just a wee bit late...LOL
Nothing real major, but when I click Practice Missions, nothing shows up...

Here is the original one..

Here is a p39 one I did...

You can copy both files in the offmiss folder, then just modify the oneononea.mis file as you want..

In the mission file, it defines two missions, the enemy depends on what mission you select while using it offline.
If you select the East to West, then West to East is the enemy... if you select West to East then East to west is the enemy.  In each mission you can also define multiple [flights].  In the example they have one flight per mission.  Look back at Hub's post and that will show u what to edit.  Then look at the plane list provided by Yossarian to determine what numbers to use for planes.  Just remember the list needs to be zero based.. so subtract one from the list he provides....

Encountering some severe frame rate hits when the clones all try to fly in the same airspace. Literally, going from 75 to 9 fps, possibly from the little puffs of smoke from the collision detection. As it really slows down, I hear damage hit sounds, and see tracers from the clones. This was reported a while back in some entirely unrelated discussion (the mystery traces and hits), but it appears that things go haywire at low fps.

Anyone sort out how to alter the distance of the clones? It seems to occur with both enemy and friendly. They'll scatter at takeoff, but once we do the wormhole jump, they're all in precisely the same position.

Toward the bottom of the mission file. This particular setup is 8 39Qs. <edit had 8,94,94, which should be 8,94,0 -there is no player controlled plane in the enemy flight>

I have been working on a multi-flight mission.  My goal is to have a flight of 4 109-G14s and a flight of 4 190-D9s engage escorted B17s.  I have the axis flights working, however both flights on the allies side show up with P51s.

I have this for the Axis:

[FLIGHTS]
109G14
196608,10,4,84,84,0.000000,0.000000,0.000000,78774.522643,0.000000,-68214.061304,0,0.000000

and this for the Allies

Can anyone point out where I went wrong in the Allies?

B17
196608,10,4,1000,3

Try 4,3,0. Unless you've figured out the waypoint assignments, I think they're going to attempt to dogfight. Might be good entertainment.

Thanks Hubs, that worked.  And the B17s do dogfight :lol.  I died when one of them collided with me in a nose low rolling scissors :furious.  Was a great show though.

Hey Hub and the rest,

I had been working on getting more separation from the enemy flight during the opening formation,i.e. I hate that they fly on top of each other.  So, I copy-and-pasted an entire [MISSION]...[ENDMISSION] set and pasted it at the bottom.

then I changed the coordinates for the third group
West To East
                   196608,10,1,14,0,-40.000000,-40.000000,-40.000000,-83370.343819,0.000000,-30572.162808,0,0.000000

This offset them a bit so they weren't right on top of each other at the merge, although they still responded in unison during the first few turns then they started to split up.
