Air transport for gv's
« on: March 21, 2008, 12:12:32 AM »
I would like to see air transport planes for ground vehicles.  That way if you wanted to you could fly your gv's in and drop them by the town.

Only real GV to be ever air lifted during WWII was the Jeep with either a .50 cal or a 37mm cannon.  Nothing like todays military ability where you can air lift Abrams, Bradlys and Humvees...

that plane was never used btw, originally a glider, they put on engines to simplify things.  made for the invasion of brittain mind u, that never happened.
If i said anything to offend u, plz ignore it.

also, if i say anything stupid or rude, it was probobly too late at night and i was half asleep, so ignore that too.

oh yeah, its all just my opinion, so if ya dont care, just keep it to urself, cuz if u dont care, i sure wont!

It is fun when new players come in and make hard statements about subjects they know little about.

Probbably wont happen ,but I still think it would be a really fun idea for the gv'ers in aces high. I heard that Britan air lifted their tanks in Lancasters, how true if at all is this?  Haven't been able to find any info on my own,so maybe you guys could help me find some.  It was a rumor that I heard in game so you never know but i'm interested to find the truth.

You couldn't make it anywhere in those. If you think C-47's get shot down all the time then imagine a heavy, huge & slow moving target in that beast of a plane.
