Who says we don't love ya?

Next time you get a tech support call about VISTA, just think of these.

It's a Win9x "blue screen", not exactly an NT-type BSOD.

BTW, anyone using Vista, didn't you notice that BSOD there now has movable mouse pointer and "busy" indicator? :D

Vista is a great invention. We have many clients who want to remove Vista pre-installed on laptops and get an XP. It costs them $50.  :aok

People can't find correct laptop drivers for XP, that's why I have a chance to earn some money. I doubt that you'll be able to run 98SE on latest Sony Vaio laptop except in VGA screen resolution.

I never said I'd keep 98 on a computer, I just used it to get rid of that virus they call an operating system, After removing vista, I took the hard drive to my neighbors computer hooked it up as a slave and slicked it,then put it back in my computer, and did a fresh install of XP home. I have had no problems ever since. Basically I upgraded from vista to XP.

Wouldn't it have been much easyer to just boot from XP setup cd, format and reinstall?  ;)

XP won't remover Vista, Vista won't allow it to do so. Why 98 can I have no idea, but it did, and now I'm happy again, I have XP back instead of that pos Vista

Should have been able to put in the Win XP install disc, then delete the partition and start fresh.
