What we need is that TA-182(?) with the wire guided missiles. I know only 3 prototypes were made and the Soviets captured them so we can't really prove that they were made, but it would be cool to have them.  :D  :devil

the version of 262 we have is A-1 right? the A-1a had provisions for 24 R4Ms under wings. dont think A-1 could carry em

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the 262A-1a was the standard fighter version. I think the R4M carrying 262s were also just the standard fighter version fitted with the racks and rockets.

We have air to air rockets already and no one uses them. The few who do use them usually can't hit jack with them.

The rockets are actually quite easy to use.  Just park your 110g 1k back from a set of buffs, and let them fly.  If you're gaining ground, shoot from further out, if you're losing, from closer.

I have  no problem using them myself. But the majority of players don't use them for AA, they use them AG. I,m just saying that since they are not used now, what makes you think they would be used on a 262.

R4Ms would be salvoes of 24 instead of 2 or 4, have the same trajectory as 30mm rounds, and need only 1 hit to bring down a bomber.

How bad is the drag penalty?
