I dunno if this is normal, but i find myself paying more attention to the picture of the new tires than the new rims.  The new tires looks very intriguing.

RPM, it's ok bro, it's a Chevy too, you won't get a ride in it!  ;)
You're just scared I'll put a "I'd rather push a Ford than drive a Chevy" bumper sticker on while you're not looking. :D

Seems to me that the direction of rotation is wrong in some of the tires. There should be arrows pointing the correct direction of rotation and the word "OUTSIDE" obviously on the outside.

Nope.  I can see how you'd reach that assesment but they are indeed on correctly.  The tires are not unidirectional.  Another reason why I bought them.

I stand corrected. I do wonder if the aqauplaning characteristics are equal on both tires... In case of most tires the right one would certainly not perform like designed.

Needs more cowbell.

Guess what?! That car has a fever, and the only prescription… is more cowbell!

Looks great!
Can I give you alittle advice without you taking it personally?  Speaking from experience and as a very "anal" detailer (don't get any ideas Mac) I think your next investment should be a Porter Cable random orbiter polisher, polish, clay bar, wax (not in that order mind you) and get those swirl marks out of your beautiful paint. PM me if you want more "details" hehe!

We had great spring weather up until thursday. I was sure winter was over, but since then we have gone from green grass and t-shirt weather to almost a meter of snow and -10
