We had great spring weather up until thursday. I was sure winter was over, but since then we have gone from green grass and t-shirt weather to almost a meter of snow and -10
Damn global warming!  :D

Yeah, back when things were normal the winter would last from november to march. Now we have had several "springs" in the middle of winter and hardly any snow.. until now  :O

Reading this skiers blog with reports from all ove Europe this past winter, it appears you had a very normal winter, perhaps more than average cold temps, but alas I digress. (Shrugs)

I liked the old rims better...those new ones look like something you'd see on a Civic. Really- all he needs is an erector set spoiler and a V-Tec decal on the door and his car will be riced out.

yea riiiiiiiiight, i had those same wheels when i got mine and they look like dog **** in person. These are 110% better looking.

Diablo since your here I was practically given a new toy for the car, brand new Garrett 80mm. Would rather keep that top secret on Tech. It might be sitting on the shelf for a while, finally going to start doing the fun stuff.

Nothing normal about the winter here. Maybe in the alps, but down here in southern norway its been far from normal.

LOL, some funny comments on here.

Rip- Yes, I know what you're talking about.  My swirls and scratches I'm afraid are too far gone for a claybar as I've already done that and it didn't make a dent in them.  There are a few deeper scratches and blemmishes that are in need of attention and by that I mean the area in question needs to be repainted.  There are also some door dings on the rear quarters that need attention, too.  Yes, I agree about the chrome wheels making the dark metallic blue "pop" more.  Night and day difference.

MAC- Float me a loan, I'd love to have a 1st Generation Camaro.  Don't think I don't dream about that situation.

Nils- Again, What the **** is snow? :)

Whiteman- Your secret is safe with me.  That's a helluva nice addition to your ride.  Can't wait 'til you get it installed!

Airhead- Ummm, no comment.  If you think this is "rice-like" Camaro, you ain't seen nothing.  But I've heard adding stickers to my car adds about 5hp and -.03 on the quarter mile!  ;)

If you have swirls and scratches I used Maguires "Scratch X" and it worked wonders on my car. I need to polish it with it one more time and the swirls will be gone.

That is good stuff...

You may want to pick up a portercable and try buffing them out if that doesn't work.  Or, if you don't feel like doing it yourself... find a good detail shop.  For about $150 a quality shop could make your paint look like new  :aok

I'm going to get my car detailed this summer... stupid VW clear-coat is the worst for swirl marks!

That's one of the things I miss about having a white car.  It hides those scratches and swirls very well.  Whiteman, are you going to try and make it out to Lone Star Flight Museum for the group photos with thier planes?  John's (A&P at LSFM and '01 SS owner) already promised me a solo photo shoot, C-HOG with their Corsair (insert drooling smilie here).  Man, I can hardly wait...

We still have to set it up.  I'll let you know after I talk to John.  He's promised us he'll roll out the fighters we want if they're available, we'll just have to organize a day and time when we can do it.  If I could pull off the Grumman warbirds with my car...that would just be, well, you know.  I'll keep you informed as we get it set up.
