This is something you probably already know, but if you are running a software filewall you have to re-allow the AH.exe after every update/patch.

Patch 2 or 3 now? Game says 2 but I have the p-39 offline. And the game dl on the AHII website describes the game dl as patch 2.

Are you running Vista with Norton by any chance? If so, remove Norton and try it. You cannot disable Norton in Vista, The option does not work.

In Zone Alarm you can set "program changes frequently"
