I want to give a big  to an M16 driver.  Not sure who they were, but last night at 72 when the big GV raid rolled in, I was up in my JUG.  Among all the WW rolling around throwing up 20mm like they were pennies, there was this one lone little M16 next to the town helping to defend the newly captured field (I think it was Bishops and I was Rook).  It was very refreshing to see someone actually roll an M16 when they could have taken a WW and been one of the herd.

                      The M-16 will continue to be used. Most of all when you have to get to a town fast. But for anything else?? The WW is better armored and has better hitting power. Right now everyone wants to spend time in the new GV.

                      I'll say this. Yesterday I was in one of about 3 WWs and 2 or 3 Osties at a frontline VH base. Between the 5 or 6 of us we chewed up a whole bunch of bombers and Jabos trying to put the base down. An equal number of WWs and Osties working together to protect a base is an awsome machine.

It was a heck of a fight...second only to the one that was happening over at 80.  Lawdy lawdy, that was good stuff!

Glad to see someone had the self determination that in the middle of it to up something other than a WW.

Didn't see jedi flying without wings, but there was so much happening it would have been virtually impossible to see much of anything except what was happening on my six of in my front quarter.

But you make me think: the action at 80...that was indeed some of the best offense/defense, back-and-forth action I has seen in a while.  GVs, fighters, attackers, bombers, and CV fleet.  Wasn't just furballers, or "greifers".  It was like armageddon 

The only thing I didn't like was the mass of mass of sqeekers!  I never squelched so manner people in 30 seconds...lol.

BACK STORY ON THAT MISSION:

The GV mission there was an "accident" actually.. I was running a goon into 10 and half-way there I looked over and saw  great GV mission into A nits base so I set it up,well,by the time I got to the base I was flying the goon too,"which I managed to take,but not before A hurri shot my plane down,the VH at the base I was going to take off from,with the GV mission,got taken out...

 So I am looking around and believe it or not,their was NOT ONE ENEMY BASE into which ANY GV mission could spawn into too..SO I am stuck..Many people in the mission,wanting to go somewhere,and I am looking. ..looking.. .looking,and suddenly it POPS right out at me,we will spawn into our OWN BASE which is about to be taken over.


And well,the rest of what you,and I,and others saw,which as you put it,was like total ARMAGEDDON,was a BLAST!!!
