What, that someone tried to avoid answering a question about a BJ?     Isn't that what every politician and lawyer in this country does?  I mean the "wording" of a law is the very foundation of its power, right?  So you think Clinton "spinning" the BJ question is the root of all our problems?     I have yet to meet a lawyer that didn't spin the truth for his/her personal gain.  It has always been a war of words with law and lawyers!

Skyrock, the problem with the country is that people try to spin there way out of their problems.  They constantly lie about what they do or say in an effort to garner more power.  They also seem to have this wonderous ability to avoid responsibility for their actions.

The fact that politicians and lawyers are frequently seen as the poster children of these problems does not change the fact that the problems are what is causing this country to go to hell.

Listen, any man who isn't man enough (whether he's the president or not) to just come right out & own up to his own actions doesn't need to be in a position of authority over the rest of us.  If you screw around, at least be man enough to admit it instead of tell half truths in an effort to mask the full truth. Atonement on their behalf isn't necessary ~ they just need to move aside.

Yes, he should own up to any wrong doing. Frequency in folks being scumbags doesn't excuse it at all.  And calling an investigation illigitimate shouldn't be used as a shield to cover up those wrong doings, either.

Here's the thing. The people likelyto admit their wrong doings aren't likely to do those wrongs in the first place. People who appear to have no morals, like Bill Clinton, will lie as easily as they commit those crimes in the first place. Yes, sexual harrassment by a public official of a subordinate is a crime.
