It has to be "We built this City" by Jefferson Starship. It actually made a top 10 list on bad songs.

Anything by Hootie and the Blowfish.

I met Hootie at JFK Airport. He drives a green Jag, his wife was covered in fur. He parked diag in a spot for two cars and only asked him to move a lil forward. He jumped outta the car like he was hot chit. Drawing attention.
He asked "Do you know who I am?"
I replied "Yes, yer an ultra melon"
The cops arrived, his ultra melon got back into the Jag with his wife and drove away.
Screw him.

Some of you clearly didn't survive the 70s.

There was a song called "Feelings" that somehow got popular, while making many of us want to take our own lives to avoid hearing it again.

Mac

I had dealings with him as well when I lived in Columbia, S.C. back in the mid 1990's.  He is full of himself.

A-one

This is the Song that never ends
It just goes on and on my friends
I started singing it not knowing what it was
and now I'll go on singing it forever just because

How could you people have missed "Achy breaky heart" as most annoying song?

Though "We built this City" has to be a close second.

I was going to post that one . . . glad I got all the way to the bottom, so I didn't have to.

Another candidate is "I've got my mind set on you."

Which, oddly enough, was fabulously parodied by Wierd Al Yankovic as "This song's just six words long."
Brauno in a past life, followed by LTARget
SWtarget in current incarnation
Captain and Communications Officer~125th Spartans

"Proudly drawing fire so that my brothers may pass unharmed."
