109G1as G2?
« on: March 28, 2008, 02:19:01 PM »
I may or may not have found a 109G1 of 5./JG11 that succesfully destroyed a B17 by dropping a 250kg bomb on it.

I also have found a..... wait for it...

Bf.109T of 11./JG11... could I do that as an Emil?

"I flew for the Fuhrer" Heinz Knoke.  Read it, good book.

Never read it, may have to pick it up. Read about him in Osprey's Defense of the Reich 109 aces book.

109T more like a 109E-7 or whats-it-called E-7n than our E-4. Even then it'd be like sticking a ta152 skin on a dora :)

No good for 109E plane model.

And an appropriate example because the T had extended wingspan IIRC.

It most certainly did. It also had a wider landing gear track if I'm not mistaken

Personally, I think it might be doable, but that all depends on whether you would have to cut some camo off of the wings or squish it together a lot. Since the 109T wasnt exactly common, but a pretty cool aircraft, I would love to see a skin in the game, and as was stated, the T very much resembled the E, though with wider gear and a longer wingspan.
