  AFAIK, saunas are just buildings, they have no gender or sexual oriantation.
Furthermore, a real Sauna is not a sexy place. It is a place of purity, relaxation and even of spiritual renewal.

Don't insult The Sauna based on what the word may be associated with at places like Reperbahn (Hamburg), and don't confuse the real Sauna with those clammy and dry, low temperature versions you mostly have in North America

I'm 100% Finn.  I grew up in northern Minnesota near the Canadian border and we had a sauna that would scorch your lungs if you were'nt careful (everyone in the family liked it HOT!  Friends of the family had trouble with it  )

My mom (90 yesterday) sold the old place a few years ago.  I miss my sauna.

If your squadmates are all male, does it make you gay?  Supposedly all Finnish AH-pilots are male, does it make us gay? 
FYI: We have had mixed sauna at every AH-meet where there have been female pilots present. Does that make you feel better?

It's a "when in Rome" thing.  If a culture has no problems with it...what does it matter what the outsiders think.

I still don't want to see nekkid Finns, though
