Sure you want someone to do the Tiger that Wittman was killed in? That's what 007 was. Not his regular tank as i uderstand it too. Might make more sense to do one of his earlier Tigers prior to Trooper Elkins and the Sherman Firefly putting Wittman's career to an end.
but how many enemy tanks came to an end under his command?
You miss my point. He didn't get anything in that tank, he died in it. I'd think possibly the Tiger he used in Villars Bocage, or even the one he scored so many kills in on the Eastern front would be a more appropriate skin. The only photo I know of, that shows 007 shows the turret blown off and upside down next to the remains of the hull. By chance on a trip to Normandy with some old AW buddies, we stayed less then a mile from where Wittmann died. We also had a chance to visit the German Cemetary where he and his crew are buried. Definately no disrespect to Wittmann intended. I've got two biographies of him on my shelves
