A P-38 with no guns :cry. But a high speed bomber with rockets and a 4000 pay loud,
also a plane with lots of range. So maybe it might be added.

The F-4 and F-5's were Photo Reconnaissance aircraft... not bombers.

Some P-38J frames were re-worked into Droop Snoots with a bombardier position instead of the guns. Others were pathfinders but none of the reworked P-38's had any more bombs than the fighter P-38's.

Not in widespread service anyway.

i think it was p38 l that had the ccramed drop snoot for the bombidier and they wouldnt have amermaent but the othere ones would because the were flying normal ones with 2000ib bombs

The droop snoot and pathfinder variants would be worthless in here.  Pathfinder wouldn't work because the game does not model the ground mapping radar that it had.  The Droop Snoop only carries the same ordance package of the L model, you don't gain anything over the L when it comes to ordnance other than the ability to level bomb.

I'm working on developing a level bombing technique for fighters/light bombers (e.g. Mosquito) right now.  I just managed to place my ords from a Mossie within 200 feet of target - it was only the second time I've actually tried it out.  And the best thing is, I stay further than 2.0k away from the target at all times  :)
