Can we have a CT map please?

I've mostly been working with the editor to create bombing missions. Would it be possible
to have access to a Combat Tour Map? Would love to see a 32 bomber formation work on
one of those massive towns we see on the CT page.

I've made a 18 bomber mission for ndisles terrain.  There's no opposition yet though.  I posted a link to the mission text file in an earlier topic.

There are a couple maps with custom designed, large built up areas laready available.

If I recall, one is the Karelia map, where specific city areas were designed with custom textures to correspond to some actual historic buildings. I also remember that the map of Japan used for the Operation Downfall scenario had historically laid out large city outlines for some of the mission goal targets.

Thanks Simaril, just checked out the Karelia map, Leningrad is huge.
I can picture flights of JU88's inbound as Yak's La's and P39's scramble to
intercept.

The Japan map isn't configured properly for the editor, unless you know how to
switch the fields on a large scale. The island of Japan would have to be all knit, with
a bish presence to the north, or south, to represent the allies. I don't know how to switch
them around.

Last time I tried Karelia a month or 2 ago, got CTDs and shortly afterwards had driver problems 

Haven't tried the updated version yet (if it exists).

I'll try and look over the link tomorrow, but I glanced at it and looks cool.  Thanks!     Taking heavy parent ack for bedtime/GCSE revision
