Redo the P-40 please
« on: March 31, 2008, 11:17:45 PM »
I don't ask for much, but one thing I would love to see is the P-40's redone. Here's a screen shot of the E model, and I'm no expert but I believe there are some seriously important controls missing.

Pretty please with a cherry on top, remodel the P-40's  :)

See if you look carefully, up in the top right of the cockpit, the P40 is the worlds' first attempt at a sidestick controlled fighter aircraft!

Are you guys kidding me?
You think the cockpit view is bad right now for the 202 & 205?

Just wait till you have even less view because of the thick 3d bar's and such.
You might wanna hold off on that one.

my votes for something else, but i would not cry if they redid the P40 and added a few more versions for early-late wars sake.

Don't you dare!!! I just spent a crapload of time skinning a skin for the P-40E, outside AND in!   :O

Here's a progress shot of new instruments, on the existing model:

The LA-7s view got better when they remodelled it.

I wasnt talking about the cockpit. Take a look at the C.202/205s 3D model with the default skin then do the same with the P40s.

Why not? They are great pickers and average turn fighters (best with E). I've landed 6 kills in one before, I got 14 perkies!!!

nice, I've gotten up to 9 kills twice and once with 12 kills in the P-40. All those sorties landed too, and several Spitfire and La kills!  :D

You have no brains. Any smart person would know the P-40E is a stick shift.
