It totally depends on what I'm flying.  For each plane I'm in, the potential threat level of another given plane changes, but in general I don't worry about any plane in the game other than the Ki-61.  Every time I run into one it's flown by a good stick and winning is a dicey proposition.

Would definitely be the YAK 9 U. Small, fast and twitchy. I fly the BF109K so I have to get close.

The aircraft I find hardest to kill is no one particular aircraft. Anything with a huge speed seperation becomes more difficult for me because I most often fly aircraft with the Mk 108 cannon and huge closure rates make the close range shot required for a certain shot more difficult.

The two most difficult to work with for myself are the Ki-84 & the K-4.  My timing always seems to be off when merging and trying to get angles on these two AC.

The Hurricane Mk IIc is a problem for my F6F and to a lesser extent the A6M. If I'm above him its no problem, but co-E or less I'll usually try to get clear if there is one around and I have no friendlies for support.

Against most MA pilots I can often time my reversals and lead turns to defeat better turning planes like Spits, F4Us or N1ks, but no matter what I do the Hurri will always turn inside me.

hmm toughest kills for me? Well, I dont consider the plane tough to kill, I consider the pilot tough to kill. I really dont like flying my P-39D against spixteens. So I usually just ho em or keep my E in the turns and if they make a hard enough turn, I can turn onto their six and finish em off.

Gixer, the question is what's hardest to kill, not what's hardest to avoid getting killed by.

Ah right, well simple. Anything with warps.

some pilots are easyer to kill than others like i find it easyer to kill expereced pilots with a 30 mm because they break in one direction and i hit things with the big slow canon rounds beter in a turn while noobs dont even notice sometimes

Give me an A6M and I'll happily take on anything that doesn't have a tail gunner.

I have found that the KI-84 is the tough aircraft in the plane set to kill A2A. What is your toughest kill?

Any aircraft driven by a competent stick.

There is not really a certain plane type which i find specifically tough.  It is the combinations that annoy me.

For instance, you look back and see a Hurricane/A6m and P-51/La7 chasing you down. Can't use energy on one and cant outturn the other :(
