Event issues?

This may have already been brought up..  But I was not able to get any events defined in the ME to work.  I tried both text and sound events, at both segement and mission levels with no luck.

Have you been able to work this out yet Soda?
I'm having the same problems.
The selected image will appear on the sccreen when the
curtain opens, but my text files do not put up a pop up box,
the pointer does not work, and the view movement does not
operate.
I've written my files in .txt format and clicked on Build Res File
when I was saving.
Still nothing operates.

I think  -sudz- mentioned that there is an issue with events that needed to be fixed so I wouldn't waste to much time on them until a fix is released...
