Havn't heard of anyone using one of those but after taking a good look.

A Digital USB (good)
B 12 buttons (good)
C 8 way Hat  (Good)
D Throttle     (Good)
E Rudder       (Good)

F Strange looking handle (? try before you buy)
G Pinky button on bottom ofhandle (? dunno about you, but my pinky is not my most accurate finger.)
H Suction cups on base (Good for some, Not good for me)
I Flying since 96, and I've never heard of this company. (Bad)
J Handle looks to be right hand only, but I like the looks of the grip itself.
However what the fancy knuckleduster in front is for I have no clue.

Front trigger, 4 thumb buttons and hat all look good. Throttle behind stick looks good.
Base buttons look like they are all crammed together. Might be not so easy to use.

Basicly, got 50$ to throw on the craps table to see if it flys, by all means go for it.
OR you could find a good MS sidewinder prec 2 on Ebay for that and have enough left over to by yourself a new headset.

Would be interested in hearing from anyone who has one, esp if they've been using it daily for over 6 months.

I have 2 MS Prec. II USB , but they are getting sloppy , and i'm wondering if this new stick might be a
good replacement for the MS sticks ?
Only way I would be interested in another MS would be new in sealed box .....
So my search continues for a in-production stick that is a good as the old MS sticks .....

A Google search on this stick turned up nothing on reviews that I could find. If the sensors turn out to be spot on accurate you can bet Saitek will have a new kid on the block. Come on Bob... buy one and give us a review  :aok

Reminds me of the original Saitek and that didnt leave a good impression. I have long since lost the desire to use anything but CH Products and have no inclination to go mucking about with cheap sticks.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

The website says they're an independent European peripherals manufacturer, which might explain why no one in the states seems familiar with them. Considering they're priced comparably to the basic Saitek/Logi sticks at the big box stores, it might be a decent gamble. Can't help but think their stuff looks a lot like the logitech stuff I've seen lately, but I suppose there are only so many usable configurations for game pads, sticks, and mice.

Pinkie switches are actually useful- I use the one on my X52 as a shift key, which doubles the amount of commands I can map to the stick itself- only using the keyboard to type is pretty handy.

Spring for the x52, it will love the amount of control you can have. You can fly with two hands and set your 3 hat switches for view controls. That way you don't have to set up presaved positions.

I was able to lay my hands on one in a local store. It felt a bit awkward and a bit cheap, especially the buttons. Had no chance to actually test it though.

Another funny thing: I checked the german Amazon for some customer reviews. Only 2, both very positive.
But one of these, allegedly  by a woman named "Karin" from Bavaria, was written in bad German -  defenitely by a non-native speaker. When I looked up her other reviews, I found she only reviewed TRUST products, and all were great stuff...  :noid

my Powered USB hub is made by Trust.

Not that I know anything about their sticks, the hub works great with all my CH stuff plugged into it.

  CHECKERS

Checkers,  I've used the same MS Sidewinder 3D Pro for the past 12 years.  I built a new machine two weeks ago and got a Saitek ST290 Pro.  It took me a few days to get used to but I'd guess it's about the closest thing you'll find.

My Sidewinder was getting a little sloppy too and the precision of a new stick was about the biggest thing to get used to, as well as the fact that the top of the stick where all the buttons are is about 1.5-2" higher than my old MS stick.

Also, I'm left handed and their adjustable left-right set-up wouldn't work for me (it was still to low on the stick and didn't offer any support to my hand).  I got rid of the plastic piece and screwed the pin in on the lfet side of the stick almost as high as it would go.  Now I've got a decent hand rest at exactly the right height for my hand to comfortably reach all the buttons.

I'd give it a whirl.  They're cheap (inexpensive).
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Thrust is well know for its low end peripherals in europe, all the products I tried from them were really crappy, I doubt this stick is an exception.

I'm the owner of a new CH fighterstick, I didn't get the throttle control that goes with it. I there any advantage in having it except the throttle control itself ? I've remaped all AH controls to the keypad and it works great, its a microsoft powered HOTAS :P

BTW Am I the only one to find the fighterstick a bit too big ? My Thumb hurts after a lot of playing, it never happened on saiteks stick before.

On the low end stick the Saitek Avi8tor is really good for AH.

The throttle gives you another 8-way hat in addition to 3 more 4-way switched and 3 buttons. It certainly offers more options toward a true HOTAS.

Yes, the CH stick, like all sticks, is poorly designed. It's based on the F-16 stick, but the F-16 stick is low and outside the pilot's right leg in real life. It doesn't sit on a desk, so the angles are all wrong.

No company in the world makes a well designed, consumer-grade joystick. Don't get me started...
