Who is the final cylon?
« on: April 04, 2008, 07:30:54 PM »
Whatcha think?

Roslin?  Lee Adama?  Sturbuck?  Billy?

I've had fun reading the other forums watching them guess this.

I think its Lt Gaeta.  He was the one who was "waking up" just as Baltar was trying to commit suicide.

He also isnt in the "Last Supper" photo at scifi.com/battlestar.  They put out that teaser that the last cylon isnt in that photo.

Thoughts?

Wish they would get it over with. This show has really gone off the deep end.

Word!
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Well it most likely isn't the Adama boys.

But I bet that they all die in the end.

Romo Lampkin should get his own series.

I'm betting that the colonists turn out to be the 'Cylons' of a previous generation, and the 'This has happened before and it will happen again' quote is quite literally true.  Every x-thousand years, 'humans' invent Cylons, they rebel, they become organic, and the last remaining 'humans' end up making nice w/ the Cylons and interbreeding w/ them to unlock the genetic key.  Time passes, everyone forgets their origin (maybe they go out and colonize, why not) and then the cycle repeats.

Not sure how it could be Lee Odama, without explaining how dear old dad didn't know.

I wanna know what's up with Roslin's connection with Sharon and #6.  Maybe it has something to do with her Hybrid blood infusion that got rid of her cancer.

I think the short list that has any real "shock value" as a big finale to a plot being drawn out for the entire series is:

Adm. Odama - That means Lee is first Hybrid
Roslin - Too obvious I think, unless that's what they WANT me to think.. hmm maybe the show producers are the real cylons...
StarBuck
Baltar - He's my quess.
The Battle Star Galactica itself!- Come'on  Who would ever expect it!  It's actually a single Cylon entity and is programed to become self-aware as soon as it enters earth orbit, and contact the real creators of the Cylon race - The Blue Hump Back whales!

If it was anyone else... who cares!  It just wouldn't be a big enough deal.

Here's my problem....

The first Cylon war was 40 years ago when the Cylons revolted and turned against their creators. At this time all cylons were mechanical, as exemplified in the "Toaster" seen in the Galactica starboard flight pod museum and on the data sheet the human envoy was hodling in the opening scenes of the miniseries.

OK....so if the cylons were all mechanical during that first war 40 years ago, how is Saul Tigh, who fought in that war, a Cylon?
Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Maybe Saul Tigh was captured, cloned, then replaced during the first war?  And if it is Romo, I think he has known for a very long time what he is.

Exactly why I said this show has gone off the deep end. Its getting more and more like Next Generation.
