Problem with custom skins,...Help Please

I have a slight problem I was wondering if I could get some help with.

When I get online, and go into the hanger to choose a plane, I click on the drop down menu to pick a skin, but most of the skins' names are colored RED and wont let me pick them.
I have like 200 custom skins for various plane installed, but only like 1 or 2 for each plane are selectable.

I know alot of these skins are older (made when previous versions of AH was out), could that be the problem? Are they not compatable?

Oh yea, also I am still on my two week trial, will that have anything to do with it?

Old skins do not work with the game. You can either open the notepad and set the game to "allow skin downloads" to get all the skins, or you can go <HERE> to get the ones you want.

Yes. It disables custom skins until you subscribe.

Sorry to bump this thread, but if you're in offline mode, and you are a subscriber, can you then use the custom skins?

Yes, that is how I test my skins.

You must download them through the site or through the game for them to work.

They will appear in the 'skins' folder in your AH directory. If you download them manually you will have to put them there yourself.

Once downloaded the skins will be accessable as usual through the drop-down bar in the hangar.

Some how I don't think this p38 skin would make it in the game.
