Been spending more time in the DA lately. Even just the stupid furball area is more entertaining. But that's like shooting fish in a barrel.

i dont know SKY i get all kinds of fights, i have noticed that more are going higher so i up from a base further back grab some good alt head to the biggest red dar most times i find great fights, not many 1vs1 but still if i am high enough, i have a chance to kill a few of them before i die,  and truly i dont care if i land my kills or not, but i so much enjoy fighting a hourde, making them work for my death. and sometimes on the way to that hourde i find that single nme that gives me a great fight.   

 heck no one can tell ya what this game is about,and where to find the fights, you know full well where they are, i got allot of respect for you as a AHer, to me you are one of the few that truly enjoy the fight.i dont know if you remember but a few years ago, (i thought you where a huge mouth piece) we went to DA and you schooled me in the hurri, my choice ride, i couldnt believe how well you turned that plane, but instead of  being cocky you explained why you where able to out turn me, and helped me set up my stick properly. when you could have easily just been a jerk and  thumped the virtual chest, in no way did you, and from that day forward i have had respect for you as a person and AHer!!  so if you truly want to get some good fights we should wing up together, and screw staying near our bases head to the biggest red dar,  jump on the hourde and kill as many of the bastages as we can

by the way i believe at the time (we went to DA)my in game name was USURPER

know what's fun though? when ya see a few cherry picking, launch from another field...climb to about 2-3k above them, and hover just barley in vis range, and take a moment to notice their patterns. they'll be too busy to notice you there.....when they dive down on their prey, then come in to where you think they're gonna surface....if ya time it right, they'll be just about dead in the water when you have em lined up in your sights. sooooo much fun

i flew with the rooks tonight, gotta say had a great time, totally wasted a bunch a perks on two 262 runs but damm it was fun, it seems like the hurri2c and i are meant to be a team, its what i do the best in, i miss more often than not, in any thing else.

If you ever want a 51 that will fight look me up if I am logged on. I have been flying the B model a lot and rarely get above 10k unless I know there hording up high. Dastardly and I have had some good ones with him a 110. Just recently I have found ways to reverse spitfires and have been getting into stall fights with them regularly. Sometimes I win...more often than not I die but its fun all the same. A lot of times when I am engaged 1v1 I see hi cons leave the fight alone because of the plane match up. I wish there were more fights like that in the MA and have made some good friends from just a single good fight. I know what Skyrock is saying tho. I loved seeing spitfires, nikis, and la's because they usually always turn fight a 51. Most of the 190s out run the B at MA alts and the D is faster at all alts. This means a few turns and followed by running usually for me. I would rather spend a minute losing to a spit than five minutes chasing a 190.

Personally I'll fight anyone and everyone - I generally lose (I truly suck at this) - but its fun to at least try. Recently been taking the hurri 2d up and trying to pick people off with the big guns  (not with a great amount of success - but its better than trying to pick at the edges etc)

Been getting bounced more than usual recently, but its not a big deal really - if I can avoid the first few, I can get co alt (ish) and with nearly the same amount of e - plus you always get someone who will turn fight with ya.....(must get out of the habit of using flat turns tho lol)

Been having great amounts of fun recently - and thank you all who have provided that <S>

I ALMOST hand a really good enjoyable fight tonight, I was rtb ina 109F4 low on fuel, 56 cannon rounds left. trying to sneak home at cruise speed at 1000 feet.  here comes a 38G.. trying to sneak up on me.. I turn around and face him when he gets 2.0 out and its on

it quickly develops into an insane stall fight, im full flaps, hes full flaps with his gear out  and we are just scissoring back and forth trying to get a crossing shot while dodging trees..

we get out of sync enough so I firewall it, raise flaps, and extend, I get 1.5 out and begin to turn..  then as im turning all i see is a spixteen screaming in..   POOF.. dead

I probably would have ran out of gas within a minute or so anyway, but I would have preferred the 38 driver got the kill, hes the one who earned it.


but that aide its been a case of either..  NOBODY to fight.. or a gang bang.. 

and its always the same gang bang.. a handful of niks and spits and lala flying with utter reckless taking evey HO they can get, and citceling above them a gaggle of pickers, waiting for the stall fights below to get slow enough for them to get the easy shots..

I actually resorted to upping a fighter and circling over strat at 10K hoping someone will try and come try and "get the porker"...

i only refer to MW arena as that's where i fly most......but it USED to be in the MW arena, that you could ALWAYS find a good fight.....1-1, 3-3, 5-7, etc..faily even matched below 7k alt. THAT was always a blast. win or lose, the fight is the important part.....like i keep saying it's a big virtual roller coaster ride. if i end the fight with my fingers hurting fron working flaps, wep, trim, etc, and my heart thumping, then it was worth the time......win or lose. period.
now though, if you're at 7k alt, you nothing but a target. ya get the guys that come screaming in faster than an SR71, shoot at ya, and climb back up......repeat n rinse. if you manage to take away their alt advantage somehow, they run(they say they're "extending" for friggin 10k lateral distance )

maybe i should come visit the DA, as it sounds like a bunch of you guys that like the actual fight are there....and i could improve myself enough to get outta the zeke/spit/hurri type rides too.
