Helpfull Tip for Large Bomber Formations

I thought I'd share this tip since getting large bomber formations to form up is rather tricky.

After the takeoff segment, give the bombers a chance to get some speed and gather up. It's best to give them a speed about 20 mph more than takeoff speed, and make sure to hit military power for the segment. In the image below you can see the box pattern just after takeoff, they will cut the corners and form up much faster this way. Comes in handy when your trying to gather 32 Lancaster's for a night mission.

BUamer, question about numbers: How can u increase the numbers of bombers?

and not by copying the flights.

Not exactly sure what you mean thedudee95, The most aircraft in a formation (within the mission properties) is 6 so if you want more than 6 you need to use multiple flights. For the Lancaster mission below I have 32 flights with 1 Lancaster in each. That way I can space them out like the Bomber Stream that was used in WW2.

For that large daylight "combat box" formation it requires 8 flights; 6 flights of 3 and 2 flights of 1. Then you use the flight offset  X,Y, and Z to get the proper spacing and formation.

I'll post the offsets for the combat box later.
