GOOD FIGHT

 :salute TO NKL5. had a beautiful 1-1 with him last night in MW..started off at around 13k alt, me in my hellkitty, and him in an A20. was no HO's or attempts, and it was almost unbelievable how well he turned that monster. i managed to get a couple rounds in him, but in the process, i fell for the rope, and that was my downfall i think.

 now this is to the guy that laughed in another thread for wanting a mossie to fight a zeke......i think this is the same thing....a20 V F6F....and he took me apart. wish i had filmed it.

ive shot down NKL5 before. hes a pain in the butt to fly against. his secret is to get you into a verticle and get you with the hi-yo manuever.

KNOW WHAT'S FUNNY....THAT'S ABOUT WHAT I FELL FOR..I CALLED IT A ROPE......and if i had been payig a bit more attention to my own e state, i might've been able to hurt him........but, i made the first mistake, and it cost me my beautiffuly painted cartoon hellkitty :cry :cry

seriously....i wish i had filmed..but at least i do realize where i pretty much gave him the kill, so i hopefully won't repeat this mistake......now off lunch abnd back to work

On a similar note I had a great series of fights SE30mm.  He was in a spit 9 and I was in a Mossie.

We had great stalling turn flights on the deck.  We ended ~50-50.

I still remember how baffled i was the first time i met NKL. I was up pretty high in my A8 chasing a lanc. Easy target I thought... until the friggin lanc started to manuver and dogfight!  :uhoh

I was in shock, and in a chute trying to figure out who the hell NKL5 was  :lol

Im not falling for that again.

He is one fine pilot indeed. One of the very best ive fought in the game.

Looks like my AH plugging several years ago over at airwarrioronline.com for NKL to take some time out from racing cartoon cars, to come fly cartoon planes, was a good idea :)

NKL is definitely a hand full in the A-20 as is Snaphook and Cobia ... BUT ... the FM for that A-20 needs some serious looking at IMHO.

I'm about even with NKL5 over several engagements... maybe just slightly ahead.  He's a good player and I wish I had something nice to say but I guess we just rub each other the wrong way.  Oh well.

NKL5 had me in hysterics one night - flying his ar234 against my spit 8 - he'd already pinged up a squaddie of mine and stayed around to fight - at one stage thought he was leaving, so wished him well  on his journey home - to be told he didnt rtb and was coming back. I never did get to shoot him down (got an assist), but was some of the funniest few minutes I've had in game.

Good guy to fly against (and had he been in something with forward firing guns, I have no doubt I'd have lost as well).
