6 50.s in the P-51 B

the 51B's fine with just the 4 .50cals. Dont know why you want the 51B to have 6 .50's when you can just fly the 51D.

Because some people prefer the B.  It is a better maneuvering plane and is faster than the D at some altitudes.

The B Pony never had 6 60s.  51D wing was adapted to fit 6.  B pony wing was not the same.

It was the P51 (no alphabetical designation). And, it had an Allison engine and a ribcage canopy. So, think P40 w/ 20mms...
