Level means nothing if you got enough stats. I got beat up by a level 8 while Im at 11. He had most of his stats maxed out and better weapon and aromor then me

thats true,  I could parked it right now at Level 8, just work 24 hours a day in the stables get about 3700 gold everyday,  upgrade until the cows come home... wait a few days or a week or so,  and then hack away...
I got wacked today by a level 9 guy with 500+ armor and a weapon that did 22 - 30 damage, I didnt have a chance, only lucky part for me was he only got about 70 gold from me, health wise though I was a wreck...

Yeah but these lvl 15-19 players have much better stats. I just made it to arena 7th by getting revenge on a much more powerful player that's been stomping on me. I caught him with low health. Oh, he'll get me back in spades I'm sure, but it was worth it heh. I know, this was like a vulch.

looks possible to me...  he's got 2 up on you in strength, 2 more Agility, 2 more Constitiution (those right there can put a hurt on ya) only 1% difference on chance to hit, even up on damage,  it could happen, called lucky...

Armor is not a cure all for lower attributes.  I dont know exactly how the game does it but pretty sure that when you have a battle the game calculates the enemy's and your hit points based on attributes, weapon, and armor ... then swing... There's probably some sort of weighted measurment... some one good at math could probably figure out the formula... not me though

I suspect armor modifies the damage done after the hit is scored.

Also you have to know if they are using upgrades/usables I think is what they are called. I beat a guy earlier today and was using the strength, charisma, agility, skill upgrades and there was no way I should have beaten him. He had better armor, skill and weapons that me and was a higher level.

err he has a 3-9 weapon with a 1 damage and hes putting out 5-11 damage???? i dont get that
