this buying rubies thing? if i dont spend money am i limited in weapons and armour or other items? i see sometimes rubies get you discounts on certain items but the big weapons all require rubies it seems.

so is it half a game unless you spend the money or can you get all the good stuff the hard way earning just gold coins?
