i see it hit about 10ft in front of my tank dirt flies up thats how i know he didnt hit me

No, you don't know. What you see on your Front End (=screen) isn't always the same what your enemy is seeing. Only your own bullets/shells/whatsoever are rendered in detail. All other shell paths are just an approximation.

Ever seen enemy bullets going past you, yet you get hit?
Ever seen an Ostwind taking down a town, the shells seem to fly through town yet buildings explode?
Ever saw enemy tanks shells seem to go through a hill?
- That's the very same effect.

the other night i shot at a Warbl with a panzr, 2nd shot got him smoking hit a few more times at the base of the turret then he comes right at me, a few other guys start shooting at him too before hies killed,  all in all i bet he was hit 12 times (6 times by me)

get this,  im face to face to a T-34  (100 feet probly) my panzr takes out his turret on the first round so i keep shooting at the base of the turret,   then i here this ting ting ting  he kills me with his hull gun,

reup hit him 3 more times while he drives right me my last shot was to the treads to track him and then hies killed.

beat that one :)

I have a question.  In my experience (in a T34) Flaks and Wirbelwinds seem much harder to kill than Panzer IVs.  Aren't all of those based on the same chassis?  I would have thought the Scherzen (sp?), ie the skirts, on the Panzer would make it harder to kill, not easier?

I know what i seen lusche you can try to explain it all away if you want but i know what i seen.  So if what you say is true all 6 or 10 direct hits on the M4 were all misses even though its showed as a direct hit.... I DONT THINK SO

I never said such a thing. Read my message again. I was adressing a specific part of your original statement that I even quoted. I said nothing about your hits on the enemy tank at all.

I've pinged M3s in the side with Tigers and M4s before, and seen the big splotch hit marker and the little bass turd :) keeps on driving. Tough little guys until I drive one.  The peasents in town could throw rocks and take out my M3.

But this is the one that makes me chuckle, upped from a base that was about to be porked, all the little field guns are blasting at this P-47 when I here the hit noise, I thought nothing of it till I went to turn right toward the jug.  Hmm the auto ack must not like me, cause the left aileron and 2 of 3 50 cals on my left side were trashed.  Dam you drunken auto ack gunners!

I would have been pissed too for shooting a 'friendly' M3 while in a Tiger ...

:lol  Icons are hard to see in tanks if they are close and zoomed all the way in.

Shells don't just hit something and come back with the same force and if they come back at all. Most of the deflections I see are into the ground or they go on for another 100ft before landing.
