Deep Thought Question of the Week.

Alright boys and girls, here's a supposed situation.  Time travel is invented, and works flawlessly, allowing a person to travel back and forth through time.

However, the rules and laws state that you must not interfere or change anything that happens.



So.  What would you go back to see?  Or possibly go forward to see?

Methinks that time travel is not possible:

if you go back (or forward) in time, the same atoms that are making your body will also be at another place (being you older or younger, your corpse in the grave, in ground waiting to be assimilated by the vegetables that you will eat years later, and so on....).

But maybe it will be possible to use some kind of 'time travel TV' that will let you watch past and future events without any possibility to tamper with history. That would already be pretty cool in itself.

Wow....TOO much to see & wittness.

I'm a history buff.  To see:  Creation, David & Goliath, Jesus, Roman Empire, Vikings, Ancient China, American Civil War, etc.

I'd need more that a 128M memory stick in my digital camera.

The REAL question is if you COULD go back in time...COULD change events, but you could never return to the present, would you?
