i did this so people could see what impact different loads had on their planes. for example, look at 109G14 with 30mm and gondolas vs 109G14 with just a 20mm, 6 gun jug vs 8 gun jug, etc
also, i was bored lol

I've done this (figuring out the weight of 20mm vs 30mm, gunpods, etc), but only for a few planes where I care. I've done it on 110G, 190s, some 109s, c2s, p47s, and some others. doesn't necessarily need to be done for every plane in the set tho'

Fwiw, the external fuel tank or bomb racks for the 109 weigh ~50lbs, and for the 190 they weigh ~90lbs last time I checked.

Loading up your aircraft with all sorts of extras can really hurt performance, e.g. take a 109G-14 out with a fuel tank and gondolas, and you almost have 500lb bomb on your aircraft even after you've dropped the tank and fired all your cannon ammunition.
