AAR "V1 Raid", Saturday June 16th

Looks like 5 bomber hangars again, so the allies win the day. Great job everyone who participated. I'd like to thank the guys who COed. Couldn't be possible without you guys stepping up.

Here's some screens I took while roaming the arena with the "CM eye":

An ME-109 refuels frantically, trying to get in the air and deal with the B26's that have struck his airfield

A B26 hightails it home on the deck, trying to leave his pursurers behind.

kbman, MarkAT, Snorkey, Hangtime, Toad & Snowgoose park their tired B26's and P47d11 escorts after a succesful 2nd frame.

Surprisingly low number of Allied air victories in the first frame. That's all the logs showed, I rechecked them.

Yes, really enjoyed all four frames.

Perhaps one of the most enjoyable days of AH for me so far.

Thanks to all for participating.

I wholeheartedly concur, it was a total blast. I have to hand it to Snorkey for some of the most disciplined flying lead for our -D11 escort flight that I've ever participated in. Very challenging and fun as hell :D Didnt do too bad for my 3rd sortie ever in that ride  ;) All in all a great effort, thx to CMs, COs and all. Keep it up!

nice screenshots!  Was a fun event.

I flew only frame two, and thought I noticed getting credit for a kill.   Didn't see my name in the log tho...can't remember who it
was.  I pretty bz at the time...
