hiho,

well, i just thought about the problem when all squadmates are in orange and a late member wants to join, but cant get in.
ok, maybe some may hate me, because why not make a rule, to let people in when they are member of a squad with more then 20 member even into a full arena.
We may see two effects: the end of the 2 pilots squads  and some more realy big numbers squadron, which is a great thing also, more organised stuff, massive attack, buff runs and so on

i just hate to see when we are orange a just even one last gent cant join while the arena is full all the time.
And no, we aren't need now much more members, we are 29 now

The flip side is to only allow 2 man squads so it it easier to coordinate which arena to go to and eliminate hording.

the caps are in the interest of gameplay Dhyran, so many people play now that when it gets into US prime time if there was only one main arena like Titanic Tuesday.

800-1000 odd players all in one arena funky stuff starts happening...

having less players doesnt necessarily remove the hording/ganging tactics that go on but back in the old setup you would have 4 or 5 frontline bases all with full enemy dar bars ready to vulch the runway.   Thats not cool.

Plus people would abuse the squad thing and join the bigger squads just so they get a free pass into the arena making it very unfair for those who have morals and wouldnt join a squad just to get easy access to the arena of their choice.

Its like your promoting big business to get bigger whilst the small guy in the corner shop gets the rough deal.

its just forcing bad mood when you cant enter the Arena and hear your Squadmates on TS having a good time!

or can you not have fun unless you flying in a horde ?

Yes it is more fun to fly with your friends but for a few occasions can't you just fly alone and get into some fights ?

ok, maybe to explain it a bit, we dont fly a hord, we make organised action, there is a difference, those differences you will find in szenarios. just good friends like to fly together. for some the friendship counts more the the sim you fly, thats the reason to fly together. did you know band of brothers?
