if you sink a CV should you get the base capture?

I say no. Every dipwad in the game would be cruising around in Lancasters looking to find a CV. No CV based fight would last 5 minutes before every score-junkie in the game converged on its location.

Not a well thought-out idea....

widewing, there is a prerequisite that must not be overlooked... Just like now, the port must be captured...  i AGREE that just having the carrier change hands on sinking would inflame dweebery... this is just a point of WHO gets credit for a base capture.... nothing more

and WHO gets the base capture gets it in his score which helps the overall score out....NOW see why he wants it?

Maybe you should have to kill all the escorts, cruiser and guns on the cv then land a c47 on the deck to capture it.    Just kidding

If you don't capture the cv why would it count as a capture?  Unless what your saying is AFTER you take the port the person that sinks the cv gets the capture.  Could put the base capture under attack back in action. 

Still unsure about this one.
