Pesky downed pilots

 last night the funniest thing,  i was in a field gun on a VB and we just shot the last con down when i hear this ting ting ting from a 45 pistol,  so i swing around and there he is inside the box,   so i start shooting but hies too close but im still trying to shoot him and hitting everyone and everything on the base. 

the other guys think some wacked out noob is in the field gun     some up and leave and i call out to whos left to remove him while im swinnging the barrel back and forth while the pilot would jump up and down over the barrel,   well one person did see what was going on and came over and took care of the problem but it was kinda embarrassing but funny.

i did notice that when i put the barrel on him he would be standing on it,  i should have raised the barrel up real fast if not throwing him off i could have made him dizzy from going up and down real fast

Happened to me once...hit a noob's B24 wing off and he ended up bailing over the Vbase. Went to get a drink and came back...pulled up the map...it was flashing...nothing on dar. All the sudden I hear ping ping ping...and the same situation, where he's standing in the box. I started shooting, but he was too close. Some guy in range told me to "get out of the field gun you freaking noob". I landed 9 kills in the field gun...and I got a "wtg" from the guy who called me a noob...

id say he meant the people on the base talking on the radio to him.

my first encounter with a downed pilot when i started this game i didnt know what to do,  i looked at him and thought  "go away" you pest    not to often that you get one up close but if your in a M-16 or Worble first i do is put the dot on his head,   and what do you know all the shells go by him on bothe sides,,,,,DOH   forgot that stuff   aim left or right.

I've had that done to me, but while I was trying to defend an air base.  Ack is down so I up a plane on the runway, then ping ping ping - a pilot wound.  I'm like WTF no enemy was strafing the runway for an easy kill.  Here, there is a little POS shooting me with his .45 right at the spawn point of the runway.  So I up a jeep and chase him down, try and run him over a few times, get tired and rip a few from the 50 cal.

That definately is funny Reminds me of when I was a complete noob and would never quit until my pilot was shot dead.  I remember walking some 20 or so miles to get to a v-base only to get butchered by the ack.

I had that happen...once. Way back when I started...I had 5 kills and got shot down...so I bailed out and walked to a port. I was talking in purple text "Cover me I gotta run to the port!" "Get this base I gotta be safe with my pilot!". No one listened to me.

I had two different fellows try this on my Wirby the other night.  They make a satisfying pop when hit with the 20mm stream!     Shoot the chutes-end of problem!

          u got to watch those buggers.they can head shoot u on the runway when u up a plane.I remember once in a dog fight bailin out and lookin around and seein another red chute next 2 me..Thats what u call a duel
