« on: April 18, 2008, 04:42:35 PM »
I can't find a link to an article...but from what I've gathered NCIS took a F14 cockpit from a museum without warning...

The Navy is very picky about F14 parts.  Anyone find the link?

Not the first time this sort of thing has happened......

Some of these seem to be from unscrupulous salvagers that are contracted to totally destroy the jet but instead part portions of it out.
Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Dam that's screwed up.. I have pictures of that jet somewhere around here. Back in the day I used to actually work.. I used to drive past that jet everyday. Watched them set it up even checked it out up close before they fenced it off. Does that mean they are going to come confiscate my camera..  :furious

edit of n/m I thought it was the actual jet they had on display. Never saw the cockpit. They do have a old PT boat and a ww2 fighter that's sitting out back under tarps.
