mt...they might not have been relevant questions to you...but they were to me. There are still questions about his patriotism, religious beliefs, and character that remain largely unanswered. The flag pin query should have been a no-brainer....yet he danced all around it without answering.
By damn, if the man is going to be my president, he should be a little more forthright with his answers, and not pull a Fred Astaire routine. What's so hard about saying that you love and honor your country?
When he says he never knew about the radical views of his minister and long-time friend, I don't believe him....so questions designed to allay my suspicions are relevant.
His comments about rural voters in Pennsylvania cause me, and a lot of other small town middle-Americans, to think that he holds our conservative life-styles and religious beliefs in contempt. Any question that attempts to clarify the man's beliefs and opinions are RELEVANT to me.

Those things, coupled with his extreme leftist views, voting record, and relative inexperience, cast a shadow over his candidacy. He'd better develop a thicker skin, because he's not playing a game of tiddley-winks, and what he faced in that forum is MILD compared to what he will face in the future.
