It's time for a little break from popping blood vessels about politicians and other nonsense. In keeping with my other posts about little people doing good, like the bar band singer in The Philippines who became the lead singer for Journey, here's another story unfolding.
The Indonesian version of "Idol" is just starting for this year and here is a link to the audition a few weeks ago of a man named... Januarisman. Many of the poorer people in Indonesia have one name, and he's definitely one of the poor people. He earns his living by playing music for tips with his old, beat up, nylon string guitar on trains - a beggar with a wife and new baby.

The first song is called "Rasa Yang Tertinggal" (which is Indonesian for "That Tiffie HO'd me!") by a group called ST 12. If you want, you can give the (much weaker) original version a listen here:
