How many lost VOX

Yeah my squad lost Vox as well, also later that night when we were in the LW Blue it happen again to just about everyone in the arena.

I did not lose VOX but I did Lock up tight upon my first attempt at entering the arena, around 20 after 10. Had to   reboot. Have not done that in a very long time. Years.

Most of USMC/71sqn lost VOX about 30min in.

Ya, about 30 minutes into it I would guess 6 or so of my guys lost vox.

As the Setup CM, I heard through the multitude of PM's that many lost VOX. I however did not.

Wish there was a simple explanation for this phenom when it happens, but their isn't.

Think about what it may have been like in RL combat to have experienced those types of failures that WWII pilots more than likely did.

We take alot of these things (worry free vox comms) for granted me thinks...And it gives new meaning to the word  Immersion....

Yeah thats what my squad was saying when we all lost vox, that it added that RL element to it.

Most in the real world when their radios went out had to RTB. Think about the good ol days, big tube radios exposed to vibration, Gs, shock. Get back to base and all it's need is a tube replaced.
A tube fer ya younguns is a giant glass transistor. When your TV went out dad hadda yank out the tubes from the TV, go to the hardware store, and stick em in a machine one by one till he found the bad one.

Nightmares completely lost vox at about the same time as everyone else.

I noticed in the past that when a arena gets close to 500 people or more, Squady's start to lose vox.  We had about 6 squady's in FSO lose vox.  I think the magic # is around ~475.  This is just from my experience in the MA's when this happens.  Could be a issue with a VOX system overload when #'s get to high in the arena?  I don't know.
