I believe Venom is on to something here with the map rest every night, or at least every other night, until the next war begins.  This would prevent the porking of the map and at the same time allow the same type of fighting we enjoyed last night.  We had sea battles, base captures, and GV battles; it was a great time for all involved.

It would be nice if the large squads could coordinate their squad nights to fall on the same night.  Perhaps every Tuesday and Thursday and maybe a weekend day.  They could be the "war" days where base capture is on and with good squad participation.  Base capture could be turned off on other days but the map would not change from the previous war day.  We would have the current setup of the DA style AvA between war days.

The thought being that there would be good turnout for war days as they are not every day and they would be the squad nights.  It could potentially avoid the lopsided numbers which hurt the war concept.  There would be time to plan and practice between war days during the DA time where the map is static (where the map was at the end of last war day).  This will also give the dogfighters a break from the war so they would still have their old AvA between war days.  It would potentially work with the new war style being planned also.

I like this idea.

I play pretty much every single day.  We seem to have a lot of people playing every day in the prime times any ways.  It seems to me that the problem of lop sided payers started when you made it 24 hours to be able to switch back to the side you are normally on.   That's what happened to me any ways.  I use to switch to axis to even the sides up all the time but when I had to stay over there for 24 hours I never switched sides again un till they just made it no time limit to switch side.  I use to go help the axis then when more of there payer showed up I would go back alied.

You should consider there are a lot of new people that are coming in and out all the time that would not know what is going on.   Like I sead in another thread that I didn't even no there was some sort of a contest going on to even win un till just recently.

I think probably the simpler your make things the better they will be.   Like if we were not having something to win and just playing the map  like most people do in the MA there would not be any spying or people coming in on the slow hours trying to pork the map  and get an advantage.
