As an adult who doesn't mind locker room language (don't LIKE it either but not offended) this is a thorny issue. I realize that the main point is that children and people who may very well BE OFFENDED (unlike me) are in the game and deserve some insulation from these comments. Let it be known I have never been muted. My problem is that the "rules" seem rather inconsistently applied. If we REALLY want no bad language then the rule should be liberally construed, i.e., "ST-U," and "AK Poussez" should be dealt with the same way as writing out the words.
Furthermore, what I do mind in game is all of the aggressive, insulting talk that falls short of bad language. This is why I don't tune 200. If one has a problem a PM would be better than the insults that fly. I wish people were mature and civil in what is, after all, JUST a game, but I realize that this is unlikely to happen. I wish the moderators would chime in and say "please stop calling all of your team "morons" and "idiots"", or "it takes two to H-O so deal with your death in silence." I'm sure that in our smack-talking, door barging, indoor cell phone talking, parking space homicide, road rage world ----this isn't going to happen.
