The article is about drunk driving, but it mentions some interesting points. It says "that residents in northern states are more likely to engage in heavy alcohol consumption". Personally I always thought that the south, particullarly the gulf coast, would be amongst the highest in alcohol consumption.

Also it mentions "blacks drink at substantially lower rates and at less hazardous rates than whites". That also surprises me.

I'm curious if they also asked during the survey if while drinking less the blacks smoked more pot? Here were i live it seems the blacks don't drink a lot but man do they smoke the weed! The liquor store i go to is making more now off "blunts" the tiny cigars than they do cigarettes. I'd really be curious about that survey and how it is slanted. Oh and if you don't know what a "blunt" is for then you aren't guilty.

Was in the corner store the other day ~ was crowded & someone dropped their dimebag.

Nobody rushed to pick it up, and I'm sure the handsome who dropped it was pissed that someone other than him picked it up.

One of my daughters used to work as a pharmacist assistant. She had one cat that would come in at least once a week and get a 10 pack of insulin syringes. She said he was always hyped up and very nervous. She used to like to mess with his head. Thought it was hilarious.
Once he came in to get his syringes and she said he was totllay wired for sound. She started jacking with his head. By the time he started to pay up he was a wreck. He started fidgeting around while getting his money out and she saw something fall from his pocket when he pulled the bills out. She didn`t say anything. When he had left the store she went around the counter to see what fell. Oooooops!!!! He had dropped his bag of crank. Bet he never recovered from that.
