DAYTON GET TOGETHER 2008!!

I will look into it, but no promises.  I have a lot of stuff I want to do at the end of June so it's gonna be an expensive summer. plus T was mentioning coming out here this summer some time and if he does I wanna go for Oshkosh then.  The main thing is I would want to drive, and with gas at 3.50 a gallon I don't see that being a very good idea.

Edit: After some quick number crunching I'm looking at a 9.5 hour drive both ways, and probably about a $350.00 gas bill for the weekend.  Who knows, maybe I can find someone along the way who wants to carpool, I would be passing through Rockford, Chicago, and Indianapolis. Hopefully they own a Prius and don't mind driving.

round trip for me is gonna b close to 11 hours drive...so whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaa already....besides highway drivin is always better than city. all i hear are excuses tecy    seriously though i'm sure someone from that area might be comin who knows...shegotya lives in east chicago. maybe they have room in their trunk for you hehe

Key phrase there Betty "round trip". It's about that for me each way. Of course you will have the rugrats which is a multiplication factor I just can't comprehend on that long of a car ride. Just checked plane tickets, out of LaCrosse I'm looking at about $600 which is terrible, from Minneapolis $400 which isn't so bad... except for the two hour drive to get there.  It dawned on my that I have always wanted to take a trip on a train.  Amtrak apparently doesn't have service to Dayton, does anyone from that area know the closest station??
